He was employed at Channel 8 and WATE-TV. Bennie loved working with Children. He coached football and baseball at Bower Field. He started the FCA program for Bower Field. Bennie is preceded in death by his parents LD and Ray Greene, and his brother Babe Greene. Survivors: Wife: Betty Greene Children: Tina Daniel of Seymour, Tim and Sally Greene of Knoxville, Ted and Kim Greene of Atlanta, Todd and Laura Greene of Knoxville. Grandchildren: Jarrod and Megan Daniel, Cassady and Kendall Greene, Tucker and Tate Greene Sister: Nora Francis and husband Bob Harmon The family will receive friends 1-3 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home in Seymour, followed by a procession to Forest Grove Cemetery for a 3:30 PM graveside with Pastor Stephen M.
