She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from U.T. Hospital and a graduate of Powell High School. Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Minnie Ford; 4 brothers; one sister; son and husband. Survived by son, Charles Hancock; 2 grandsons; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Martha Bass; brothers, Raymond, Gene and Howard Ford; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Betzy Elifrits Warren officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 am Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum for a 12 pm entombment service.
