Kathryn Ewing Borders, of Campbellsville, Ky., died Sunday, February 19, 2006, in Campbellsville at 85 years of age. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She united in marriage to Clifton D. Ewing October 15, 1936. He preceded her in death May 15, 1984. She united in marriage to Richard C. Borders May 16, 1992. He preceded her in death August 20, 2002. She is survived by one daughter and one son and daughter-in-law: Joanne Jenkins, of Kansas City, Missouri, and William and Gayla Ewing, of Cosby, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Juli Jenkins, of Norwalk, Connecticut; Jana Brinson, of Fort Myers, Florida; Deanna McMahan, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and Greg Ewing, of Roanoke, Virginia; five great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery. Family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
