William J. Kyker, age 74, of Newport, died Friday, February 18, at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County. He is survived by his sons, Billy and Jerry Kyker, both of Newport, Timothy Kyker, of Knoxville, and Gene, Steve, and David Kyker, all of Ohio; daughter, Linda Kyker, of Morristown; brothers, Bob and Ralph Kyker, both of Newport; sisters, Ann Ramsey, of Newport, Mabel Lombardi, of Ohio, Wilma Drinnon, of Newport, and Jane Johnston, of California; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Sanders and Rev. Robert Williamson, with burial in Stokely Chapel Cemetery, with L/CPL Charles Roberts DAV Chapter 102 officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Manes Funeral Home. Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
