The 3/278th Armored Calvary Regiment, Troop K returned from Iraq earlier than scheduled after leaving for Camp Shelby in December 2009 then for combat in Iraq in February 2010. The troop was anticipated to return home in December of this year. Above, Sgt. Stephen Higginbotham was welcomed by his wife, Lois, as he held their Godson, two-month-old Jacob Maier, for the first time.
