Charter member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, US Navy veteran of WWII, owner of Winkle's Greenhouse and Nursery. Preceded in death by parents, Fredrick and Beatrice Eggers Winkle; sister, Lucille Davis. Survivors wife of 51 years, Mary Ann Ogle Winkle; sons, Ralph Andrew and wife, Brenda; David and wife, Belinda; daughter, Teresa and husband, Russell Manning; sons: Bob Winkle; Mike and wife, Jody; grandchildren, Shane, Christy, Eric, Ellen, Shannon, Adrienne, Heather, Megan, Kristi, Jessica, Dalton, Karley and Jori; great-grandchildren: Kevin, Hayden, Delaney, Wesley; brother Fredrick S. Winkle Jr.; several beloved nieces and nephews. Service Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Winkle, Karley Winkle, Eric Winkle, Dalton Manning, Phil Winkle, Rob Ogle, Steve Burgin and Sam Adams. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Memorial Fund 6632 Chapman Highway.
