Dora Lee Greer, born January 19, 1928, went to be with her Savior on January 20, 2015. She was a faithful member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church for 73 years. She was married to the late William “Bill” Greer for 53 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Greer, her mother and father, Mary and Walter Murr. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Frances Marshall and brother, Fred Murr. Her grandparents were the late James Berry and Rillie O’Dell. She is survived by her children, Mary Louise Bradley and son-in-law, Wilbur Bradley of Chattanooga, TN and John William Greer and daughter-in-law, Faye Greer of Bristol, TN; grandchildren, David Lee Bradley of Newport, Michael Abraham Bradley of Chattanooga, TN, John William Greer, III of Goodyear, AZ and Amanda Leanne Greer of Bristol, TN; two great-grandsons, William Blake Bradley and Dustin Michael Bradley of Chattanooga, TN; brothers and sisters, Charles Murr, Della McNabb, Bill Murr and sister-in-law, Marlene Murr, Edna Wilson, Mary Ellen Strange and brother-in-law, Tillman French. Dora Lee is also survived by many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff of the Heritage Center Morristown for their loving care and attention. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, January 23, 2015 with funeral services following at 7:00 pm, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Suggs and Rev. Ray Wiley officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January, 24, 2015 in Ray’s Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at: www.manesfuneralhome.com.
