Linda Faye Tucker, age 42 of Newport went to be with the Lord Friday, December 15, 2006 at Baptist East in Knoxville. Linda was preceded in death by her father, J.R. Griffin and daughter, Linda Scarlet Tucker. Linda was a Baptist and worked at Bush's as a laborer. She is survived by her husband, Bill (Gabe) Tucker and daughter, Diamond Tucker both of the home; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Brenda and Ronnie Byrd of Sevierville and Glenda Sutton of Jefferson City; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Jill Griffin of Seymour. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends survive Linda. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Brown Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Graveside service will be conducted Monday, December 18, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Ball Cemetery with Rev.
