She was a member of Stokley Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Rudolph Whipple, parents Jess and Ethel Lane, son Randy Whipple, grandson David Randall Strange. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Templin, of Dandridge, sons, Gary Whipple, of Newport, Danny Whipple and wife Shelia of Newport; daughters, Diana Whipple, of Newport, Patricia Hartsell and husband Leonard, of Newport; step-children, James Templin and wife, Hazel , Terry Templin, Rodney Templin, Rhonda Templin; brothers Jay Lane, of Knoxville, Beecher Lane, of Newport, Joe Lane, of Newport; sisters, Pat Perryman, of Newport, Brenda McGaha, of Newport; special sister, Jeanette Overholt of Newport; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandchild; also several nieces, nephews and a host of other special family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Stokley Chapel Church with Rev. Ed Parton officiating, burial will be in Stokley Chapel Cemetery.
