(October 27, 1922 - July 7, 2006) Nina Ottinger Fullington, age 83, of Parrottsville, passed away, Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, after a lengthy illness. She retired from Baptist Hospital of Cocke County and was a faithful member of Salem- Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, of 60 years, Charlie; her children and their spouses, Steve and Debbie Fullington of Parrottsville, Anna and Anthony Hance of Newport, Susan and Rev. Wayne Dalton of Bybee, William Fullington of Parrottsville and Mike Fullington of Parrottsville; grandchildren and their spouse, Melissa and Todd Green of Newport, Eddie and Lavonda Dalton of Parrottsville, Chrissy and Larry Smith of Newport, Kerri and Garrett Ritter of Newport, Brooke Fullington of Newport, Erika Fullington of Newport, Cole Fullington of Parrottsville and Katie Fullington of Parrottsville; great grandchildren, Maylee Dalton, Jaycie Green, Caden Smith and Kyra Ritter; one sister, Beulah Maloney of Telford; aunt, Cloella Sisk of Walland, TN; three sisters-in-law, Beatrice Ottinger of Newport, Helen Fullington of Thomasville, NC and Jenny Ottinger of Johnson City, TN; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Salem-Lutheran Church, with The Reverend Connie Bramlett officiating, with burial in Salem-Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice Program, P. O. Box 754, Newport, TN 37821.
