Anna Mae Raines, age 79, of Newport, went to be with the Lord November 14, 2005. A retired employee of Wal-Mart, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Raines; mother, Ada Raines; sister, Nita McGaha; sons-in-law, Charles Kelley, Bobby James, and Ricky Allen.
She is survived by daughters, Shirley Wilds and husband Ronnie, Ann Freshour, Donna Allen; special foster son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Lynn Jones and Vicki Jones; foster daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Steve Jurist, each of whom she loved as her own; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; very special friends, Gracie Kimberlin, Reva Ramsey, Rodney Stinson, and James Wallace Phillips.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 16, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will immediately follow in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Smith and the Rev. Tom Baez officiating.
Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005, in Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert James, Vance Freshour, Justin Holt, Dustin Holt, Chuck Kelley, Lance Sinard, and Bill Sisk. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
