Sam (Junior) Miller, age 76, of Sevierville, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center.
He made his home with Roy and Ruth Gossett for the last 26 years. There is an empty space in their home. Sam (Junior) loved to work, build fences, put up hay, cut tobacco, and cut wood. He was a very hardworking man.
He was a member of Dripping Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mossie Worsham Miller; brothers, Johnny, Robert, Charles, and James Miller; sisters, Imogene Nichols, Elsie Rogers, Cora Jane Morgan, and Lucy Reagan.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Margaret Miller; sister and very special brother-in-law, Ruth and Roy Gossett, all of Sevierville; sisters-in-law, Billie Miller and Marie Miller; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2005 in the Dotson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Garland Whaley officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Dripping Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Dotson Funeral Home.
