ROBERTS, NELLIE - age 96 of Maryville died Friday, July 5, 2002 at Fairpark Healthcare Center. She was a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church and The Order of Eastern Star Mary Blount Chapter. Preceded in death by Husband, Benjamin Franklin Roberts parents, Minnis and Icie McCampbell. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Harold Bell of Maryville sons and daughters-in-law, Minnis and Ruth Roberts, James and Jo Roberts all of Maryville son, John Roberts of Maryville seven grandchildren fourteen great grandchildren adopted sister, Myrtle Tilly. Funeral Service will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Larry Best and Rev. John Thierbach officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2002 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Cemetery in Townsend. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000 www.smithmortuary.com.
