(May 19, 1955 - May 12, 2015) Janice Faye Owens Valentine, age 59, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Newport Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Zora Owens; brother, Bobby Ray Owens; sisters, Lillie Mae Strange and Jettie Hux. She is survived by her son, Joshua Paul Valentine; grandchildren, Addison, Austin and Jackson; brothers, John Owens, Jimmy (Sheila) Owens; sisters, Mary Parker, Carolyn Shelton and Betty (Charles) Short; special family, Paul Valentine and Patty Stanton; also several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Friday, May 15, 2015 Stokely’s Chapel Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Wyatt officiating. Graveside services will follow in Union Cemetery at 3:00 pm, with Rev.
