Born Sept. 17, 1947, in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ollie (Parrott) and John Thomas. She was the wife of Douglas C. Midkiff; mother of Johnny Thomas; grandmother of Jessica; sister of Virginia Trydell, Clyde, William "Cotton," Fate, Fred, Willy, and the late George and Carl Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Midkiff worked for many years as a banking customer service representative. Visitation was at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., Laurel, Md., on Monday, June 29, 2009, where a service was held at 7:30 p.m. Interment private.
