Survivors Husband, David Childress, Sr.; children, Angela (Danny) Shaffer; David Childress, Jr.; Wanda Wolfe; stepdaughters, Michelle Dyer and Amy Childress; sisters, Gracie Hethcoat, Faye Humphrey, Shelia Oxendine; brothers, Charlie and Kenneth Hurst; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Service Funeral service Friday, 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the family.
