STROUD , EULA MAE - age 77, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, March 11, 1999. She was a child of God who knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. Mrs. Stroud was the retired owner of Eula 's Caf‚ and was preceded in death by: her parents, L.A. and Betty Huff Jenkins; husband, Walt Stroud ; sister, Elizabeth Dean; and brothers, Willie, Herman and L.C. Jenkins. She was the beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of: her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Calvin Housewright of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Teresa Stroud of Knoxville; grandchildren, Karen Hubbs, Gale Shown and husband, Bob, Jeff Turner and wife, Terry, Lisa Tarver and husband, Jeff, Tim Housewright, Brandon, Tiffany and Taylor Stroud ; great-grandchildren, Amber, Whitney and Matthew Shown, Tyler Turner, Paul, Brent and Jeffrey Tarver; brother and sister-in-law, Hershel and Gertrude Jenkins, Carl R. and Katherine Jenkins, all of Powell; sisters-in-law, Barbara Jenkins Jones and Lucille Jenkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Sunday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel by 10:30 a.m. to travel in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service with Chaplain Dan Hix officiating. Pallbearers: Calvin Housewright, Bob Shown, Jeff Turner, Jeff Tarver, Monte Stooksbury and Steve Buckner. Memorials may be made to the Department of Pastoral Care, c/o Baptist Hospital, 137 Blount Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920. Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel in charge.
