BLAZER, MICHAEL RANDALL - age 54 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at home September 7, 2007 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. Member of Riverdale Baptist Church, graduate of UT and director of Environmental Health of Sevier County. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Alice Blazer, grandparents, Joseph and Carrie Cline, Horace and Etta Blazer, mother in law, Glenna Rule, grandparents in law, Glen and Ressie Hankins. Survivors: loving wife of 26 years, Donna Rule Blazer; daughter, Caitlin Blazer and fianc?, Brandon Morgan; expectant granddaughter, Jazlyn Kay; brother and sister in law, Harold and Joyce Blazer; sister and brother in law, Rhonda and Dwayne Sane; father in law, and step mother in law, Ralph, Jr. and Jenny Rule; brother in law, and sister in law, Ralph III (Sonny) and Cindy Rule; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral 8 p.m. Monday September 10, 2007 Bridges Chapel, Rev. Mike Vincent officiating. The family and friends will meet at Asbury Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday for an 11 a.m. committal service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Riverdale Baptist Church Family Life Center, 7124 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville, TN 37914. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 523-4999.
