Curtis L. Susong, age 58, of New Braunfels, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday December 30, 2013 after a ten month battle with cancer. Curtis was born of November 1, 1955 in White Pine, to Alma Blazer Susong of Parrottsville and the late George L. Susong. Mr. Susong was employed at Western Rail Road, New Branufels, Texas, as a lead man. He also preceded in death by his son, Adam Susong. Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Elvia Susong; children, Benjamin (Christy) Susong of Bean Station, Marcelina Hernandez, Anthony (Michelle) Hernandez and Cynthia Soto all of Texas; sisters, Lisa Pratt of Moshiem, Debra Susong; brother, Phillip Susong both of Parrottsville; grandchildren, Aaron Albright, Andrew Susong, Jaycee Susong all of Bean Station, Jenae Montez, Mariah Hernandez, Tony Hernandez, Joe Ray Sanchez and Mishay Hernandez and Mario Soto all of Texas; and several other family and friends. Funeral services were held on January 2, 2014 in New Braunfels, Texas. Those who wish to send condolences to his mother, please send them to Alma B.
