Mrs. Mae Edith Blazer, age 92, of Parrottsville, passed away Sunday, February 29, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Minnis Blazer; brother, Barton Fowler; and sister, Leecy Blazer. Survivors include her nieces: Vallie Bible, of Cleveland, Ohio; Marie Gorrell, of Newport; Rena Blazer, of Johnson City; five great-nieces, one great-nephew, one great-great-niece, and four great-great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2004, at the Costner-Maloy Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Hitechew officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:45 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2004, at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
