(December 28, 1942 - October 23, 2014) Charles Wayne Church, age 71, of Newport passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Newport Medical Center. He was preceded in death by mother, Charlotte Marie Church Ledford; father, Warren G. Harden Church; brothers, James Darrell Church, Tommy Dean Church, and Joe Michael Church. He is survived by daughters, Kimberly (Joseph) Kyker, Jessica Parton (Benjamin Sawyer) and Ashley Daniels (April Bledsoe); sons, Keith (Terry) Church and Travis Church; sisters, Marie (Chandler) Hembree, Linda (Alfred) Holt, Mary Sharon Ledford; brothers, Warren Eugene (Marie) Church, Lanny Church, Curtis (Dottie) Ledford, Dwayne Eddie Ledford and George Harold (Mary) Ledford; four grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Brockwell Construction Company for their help, and Dr. Matthew Nunelley and Newport Medical Center for all their care. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Jaynes and Rev. Charlie Conard officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Daniels Cemetery, Del Rio. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, prior to funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Manes Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
