Margaret Sue Presley Greene, age 63, of Newport passed away at home Sunday, April 17, 2011 Surrounded by family and friends. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by mother-in-law Eula Greene, parents Charlie and Nova Presley, brothers Hugh, Tommy and Frank Presley, special aunt and uncle in law Shan and Edna Bush. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Roger Greene, daughter Amanda Greene Peters and husband Bill, grandson Saxton Peters, all of Nashville, TN, and father-in-law Buck Greene. She is also survived by her sisters, Frances Kilgore and Mrs. Mike (Charlotte) White, special family members Bettye Bush Grooms, Marvin Keys along with a host of nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Tuesday April 19, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm prior to the funeral service. Burial will be 10:00 am Wednesday April 20, 2011 in the Union Cemetery. Margaret lived life to its fullest daily. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a woman that in her midst, you realized the beauty that lied within. Margaret will be greatly missed by family and friends.
