He was a loving father, husband and grandpa, a friend to many people, a generous and kind hearted man who will be missed by many. Preceded in death by, mother, Evie Shetley Henderson; brother, James Glenn Henderson. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Marilyn Henderson of Newport; son, Mark Anthony Henderson of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Brian Ellison of Newport; father, Coolidge Henderson of Newport; two brothers, John Henderson of Leesburg, VA., Phillip Henderson of Gallatin, TN.; one sister, Helen Henderson Pierce of Newport; one granddaughter, Chelsea Johnson and two great grandchildren, Jayden and Jace Johnson. Services will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 prior to the service. Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
