He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Smallwood , and son, Harry Smallwood . He is survived by his children, Billy Smallwood , Judy Bailey, and Janice Ramsey, of Newport; Joyce Brown, of Crossville; Terry Smallwood , of Lenoir City; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Manson Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at night at Manes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Manes Funeral Home is in charge. [S147] Find a Grave, (Memorial: 48787742).
