She is a graduate of Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy, Mars Hill College in North Carolina, and Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She was a member of Johns Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ethel Hodges Davis, brothers, Burl and Robert Davis, and sister, Lois Davis Sloan. Survivors: Husband: Richard M. Barker Nephews: Joe Bill Sloan and wife Brenda, Andrew Davis and wife Brenda, and Gordon Davis and wife Linda Nieces: Ann Johnson and husband Harry, Marcile Pemberton and husband Jay, and Carolyn Lewis and husband Gary Cousin: Mildred Clark Also survived by several Great Nieces and Nephews Family and friends will meet 12 PM Friday in Chilhowee Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev.
