Pauline Wilds, age 80, of Newport, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 11, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Leon Sr. and Gypsy Wiley; her brothers, Robert Lee and George Leon Wiley Jr.; and a sister, Mary Ruth Wiley. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Stanley Wilds; daughters, Carol Green and her husband Terry, Johnnie Sue Phillips and her husband Jim; granddaughter, Paula Green; special caregivers, Karen Sisk, Jeannie Payne, and Elizabeth Caldwell; several nieces, nephews, and a host of special friends; and a very special niece, Debbie Shropshire. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2005, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Shropshire, Rev. Gary Miller, and Rev. Ransom Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Manes Funeral Home. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
