(December 12, 1947 - November 5, 2010) Harold Dean Haney, age 62, of Newport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5, 2010 in Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Hattie Jane Haney; brother, Donald Stevie Haney; and granddaughter, Emily Grace Haney. He was a salesman at James Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Terry Lynn Haney of Newport; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Sandy Haney of Del Rio, Kirk and Nikki Haney of Newport; daughters and sons-in-law, Christie and Allen Williams of Newport, Sherrie and Mark Turner of Del Rio, Cindy and Eugene Ball of Newport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Alice Haney, Wayne and Nellie Haney, Danny and Tammy Haney all of Del Rio; brother, Henry Haney of Newport; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and John James of Del Rio; thirteen grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and friends, Brownie and Carolyn Licklighter. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Dale Maloy officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Clark Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
