BRIGHT, BOBBY (BOB) W. - 76 of Knoxville, left us to be with the Lord Thursday morning, May 14, 2009 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Halls. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Army. He retired from Rohm & Haas after 38 years. He was a long time member of Ball Road Missionary Baptist Church in Karns. Preceded in death by first wife, Ellen Bright; her parents, Carl and Irene Mynatt; grandson, Christopher Sharp; parents, Will and Thelma Bright; brother, James Bright; nephew, Brice Noland; sister, Bessie Guy. Survived by wife, Wilma Bright; daughters and sons-in-law: Patty and Alyn Stansberry, Karen and Scott Quammen both of Knoxville, Brenda and Glen Humphreys of Sweetwater; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Robin Setzer; Rick Setzer; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Judy Bright; sister, Delsie White; his 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bruce Avery and staff for the exceptional level of care they provided and nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital and Hospice. The family will receive friends at Mynatt's Funeral Home in Fountain City on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM funeral services immediately after with Rev. Barry McDonald and Jimbo Seaton officiating. Family and friends will gather at Highland Memorial Park in the "Garden of Time" for internment at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2009.
