He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was an electrician for Tennessee Associated Electric for 42 years. Preceded in death by father, Herbert O. Thomas. Survivors He is survived by wife of 40 years, Phoebe Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Frank Brewer III; grandchildren, William Thomas and John Patrick Brewer; mother, Elizabeth L. Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Roy Lynn and Pat Thomas; nephews, Greg and Gary Thomas; nieces, Joy Colwell, Tammy Bowen; several aunts and uncles. Service The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM, Rev. Steve Hancock and Rev. Mike Adcock officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 11 AM on Saturday for interment services. Pallbearers will be: Eddie Asbury, Richard Hall, Carl Miller, Kevin Smith, Jerry Frazier, Jerry Shipe, Alonzy Aslinger and William Bray.
