Doris Jennings, age 63, of Cosby went to be with the Lord. Thursday evening October 27, 2005 at Fort Sanders Park West Hospital in Knoxville. She was a member of Mountain View Disciple of Christ and attended Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and C.L. Willis. She is survived by her husband, Jerrell Jennings of Cosby; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanenne and Charlie Blazer; brothers, Lester Willis of Morristown, Joe Willis of Jacksonville, FL, McArthur Willis of Del Rio; sisters, Alma Jean Lane of Bogard; grandson, Chris Henderson of Cosby; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral were held 8 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Wells and Rev. Manson Lee officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday October 30, 2005 in Union Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
