Eula B. Shults, 88, passed away Tuesday morning at her home following a lengthy illness.
Eula was a member of the Denton Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Beed Shults; a daughter, Martha Jane Large; and several other sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her children, Jay Shults and his wife, Joan, of Cosby, Earl Jack Shults and his wife, Brenda, of Cosby, Jeanetta Slagle, of Johnson City, Shirley Clark and her husband, Wade, of Rogersville, Alabama, and Gail Nations and her husband, Doug, of Easley, South Carolina; sister, Nora Valentine and her husband, Vick, of Cosby; brother, Fred Lois Brown, of Gastonia, North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family would appreciate any memorial gifts be made to the McMillan Cemetery Fund c/o Georgia Jenkins, 2221 Hartford Road, Cosby, Tennessee 37722.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gene Watkins ofÞciating. Interment in the McMillan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
