White, Juanita “Jack” –age 82, of South Knoxville, passed away Thursday, January 04, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Member and longtime children’s Sunday School teacher at New Salem United Methodist Church. She will long be remembered as a cafeteria worker at Doyle High School serving lunches for over 25 years. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth C. White; sisters, Willie Pearl McCammon; Betty Weaver; parents, James Ollie and Lula Childress.
Survivors
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Velma White; granddaughter, Melanie White; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Faye and Don Monday; brothers-in-law, Hugh Weaver and Sam McCammon; several nieces and nephews.
Service
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM, Dr. Glenn Patterson and Rev. Steve Tuck officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Cemetery on Sunday for 1 PM graveside services. Pallbearers will be nephews. Memorials may be made to New Salem United Methodist Church, 2417 Tipton Station Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
