HATMAKER, RUBYE JUANITA - of the Briceville community, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at her home with many of her family by her side. She was born November 25, 1919, to Elmer and Dicie McMahan Rhea. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Briceville where she was the pianist for many years. She enjoyed playing the piano, cooking and many other things, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by: parents, Elmer and Dicie McMahan Rhea; husband, Leo Hatmaker; infant brother; sister, Helen Rhea; son-in-law, Paul Anderson. Survivors: extra-special sister, Mary Rhea, Briceville; daughter, Judy Anderson, Luttrell; sons, Jerry and wife Pam Hatmaker, Briceville; Gary and wife Susan Hatmaker, Briceville; Randall and wife Kathy Hatmaker, Briceville; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Floyd "Nig" Hatmaker and wife Violet, Briceville; and a host of other friends and relatives. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Covenant Hospice, Dr. Manisha Thakur and staff at Clinton Family Physicians, special friends, Bonnie and Roger Hooks, First Baptist Church of Briceville, and many other friends and relatives. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:30 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral service: 2:00 pm Thursday, March 15, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Briceville with Rev. Tim Russell and Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Internment to follow funeral service at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City, TN. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandaughters: Brian Anderson, Stephen "Bo" Anderson, Dennis Hatmaker, Steven Brent Luallan, Gary Hatmaker Jr., Derek Washam, Michelle Birchfield, Melinda Spradlin, Darlene Hatmaker, and Debbie Hatmaker. Honorary Pallbearers will be great grandchildren: Caleb Birchfield, Luke Luallen, Tyler Anderson, Dalton Hatmaker, Steven Seiber, Austin Hatmaker, Elizabeth Anderson, Ciara and Alexis Hatmaker, Marikayla Luallan, Brittany Birchfield, Lisa Seiber, Brooke and Leah Taylor. Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City is in charge of these arrangements.
