RHEA, HELEN LORENE - age 82 of Briceville, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 11:40 am at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, TN. She was born August 7, 1922 in Briceville, TN to the late Elmer and Dicie McMahan Rhea. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Briceville.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Floyd Rhea and special brother-in-law, Leo Hatmaker.
Survivors: loving sisters, Rubye Hatmaker, Briceville, TN, Mary Rhea, Briceville, TN; special niece, Judy Anderson & husband Paul, Luttrell, TN; special nephews, Jerry Hatmaker & wife Pam, Briceville, TN, Gary Hatmaker & wife Susan, Briceville, TN, Randall Hatmaker & wife Kathy, Briceville, TN; 5 great nephews; 4 great nieces; 5 great great nephews; 8 great great nieces.
Great nephews and great great nephew will serve as pallbearers. Visitation: 6:00 - 9:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral service: 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Briceville with Rev. Tim Russell and Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Interment to follow the funeral service at the Leach Cemetery in Lake City, TN. Hatmaker Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.
