Harriett Brady Price, 83, of the Dutch Bottoms Community, Newport, passed away Saturday, October 24, at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
She made a profession of faith at an early age and was a member of Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church for 58 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sally Brady; son, Jay Price; four brothers; and two sisters.
Harriett is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ernest Price of Newport; grandson, Jay, and his wife, Debbie; great-granddaughter, Kayla, all of Morristown; brother, Basil Brady, of Newport; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The funeral service was held at 8 p.m. Sunday, October 25, at the Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Warren and Rev. Brian Bradley officiating. Visitation was from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. prior to the service.
Graveside service was 10 a.m. Monday at Union Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home was in charge.
