Lena Hensley Hill, age 93, of Chestnut Hill went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2005. She began her journey at her home surrounded by her loving family.
On March 20, 1911 Lena was born to the late John and Ida Cody Hensley in Jefferson County. Besides parents, her husband, Allen ‘Dutch’ Hill and several brothers and sisters preceded Lena in death.
Leaving behind to mourn her passing, but celebrating the life she lived is her daughter, Edna Ottinger of Chestnut Hill; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Allen, Debbie and Stephanie Ottinger of Sevierville, Joel, Mary Ann and David Hance, Jay, Tina, Jayson, and Jordan Ottinger, Kay Harvey husband David all of Chestnut Hill; special great granddaughter, Karie Duncan of Chestnut Hill. Beside the immediate family Lena will be missed by many relatives and friends whose life she has touched.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Chestnut Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. Friends and family may call on the family at their convenience at the home of Joel and Mary Ann Hance, 3571 Highway 411 Dandridge, TN.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Chestnut Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 2418 McGaha Hollow Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.
Brown Funeral Home is honored to have provided the final arrangements for Lena Hensley Hill.
