Joe Edd Turbeville, age 74 died Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a Charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gatlinburg. He was co-owner of Miller’s Dinnerware. He was Business Manager of the Mountain Press and Editor of the Mountain Visitor Newspaper. Preceded in death by his parents, William Edgar and Fannie Turbeville of Robbinsville North Carolina, two sisters, Konda Miller and Mary Bell Powell

Funeral service 4:30 PM Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gatlinburg with Pastor Arne Walker officiating. Interment 10 AM Friday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be: James Moore, Jimmy Millsaps, Arthur Millsaps, Gilson Moore, Marcus Little, and Gene Catlett. The family will receive friends 2:30-4:30 PM Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Arangements by Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
