(November 21, 1931 - September 26, 2007) Trula Jean Hurst, age 75, of Dandridge, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at U.T. Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Pearl Garner; brothers, Luther and Houston; and sisters, Mima, Mildred, Clora, Barbara, Nola Mae. She is survived by her husband, Roy Hurst; children, Melvin Hurst of Lexington, Kentucky, Elizabeth Guzman of Lexington, Kentucky, and Darlene Hurst of Dandridge, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Garner of Winchester, Kentucky; sister, Aileen Gredig of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2007 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Harold Hurst officiating. Interment will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Ellejoy Cemetery.
