Nikki Ann McCarter Blackwell, 37, of Woodstock, Georgia and originally of Sevierville passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was born January 4, 1979 in Sevier County. Nikki graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2001. She moved with her husband, Jeremy, to Woodstock to pursue their dream of entrepreneurship in the motorsport industry and opened their own store, "Speed For Sale Motorsports". She was an animal enthusiast and had several pets that were close to her heart, Daisy, Sadie, and Squeak. Nikki loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. Heaven gained an angel!
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Merlie Headrick, and Hoy and Nina McCarter.
Nikki is survived by her loving husband, Jeremy Blackwell; parents, Mike and Becky McCarter; parents-in-law, James and Terri Blackwell, and Sandi and Phillip Smith.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6:45 PM Friday, October 28th with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Rev. Michael Barnes and Rev. Roy Gose will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 AM Saturday in Headrick's Chapel Cemetery for the graveside service and interment.
