Patterson, Sam "Zeke", passed away Tuesday, December 20th, 2011. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of Third Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by parents; Z. and Bertha Patterson, brothers; Bradley, Kimble and Owen Patterson, sister; Dixie Brown, and son-in-law; Dr. M. G. Evans, Jr., and five brothers-in-law. He is survived by his wife; Martha Hodges Patterson, daughters; Kathleen Nelle Evans and Kimberly Patterson (David Bryant), grandchildren; Katherine and Anna Grayson Evans, sisters; Lorraine McDowell and June (Lionel) Archuleta, brothers-in-law; Ray (Louise) Hodges and John W. (Lorraine) Hodges, and numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22nd, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 23rd, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
