She was a founding member of First United Methodist Church, Gatlinburg, a member of the Park Service Wives, and a charter member of American Legion Post 202 Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband David E. Galbraith; sister, Grace Everett; brother, Richard ”Pete” Everett. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law: Jim and Corky Galbraith, John and Amelia Galbraith Grandchildren: Amanda, Andrew and Lauren Galbraith In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friends of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, P.O. Box 1660, Kodak, Tennessee 37764 or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 433 Sevier Ave. Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. Funeral service 8 PM Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Harrison officiating. Entombment 10 AM Friday in the Chapel Mausoleum of Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
