(July 4, 1966 - October 8, 2017) Lynda D. Smith passed away on Sunday October 8, 2017 at home due to a long term illness. She was born on the 4th of July 1966 in Redding California. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brother, Tammy L. Thompson, Laura J. Thompson, David R. Thompson; 2nd husband James Sims also preceded her in death. She is survived by her father, Lawrence Thompson; daughters, Danielle and Samantha Sims; nieces Kristina Jenkins, Tiffani Bowman, Taylor Wilkins and Marina Thompson; great nieces and nephews, Hayley, Tyler, Alxis, Ty, Dylan, Lilly, Canden and Kash; She also had a granddaughter. Lynda was a firecracker of a woman and she was loved by most. She will be truly missed but we are thankful that she is now happy and healthy and pain free. The family will be having a Celebration of Life get togeather after her ashes have been returned.
