HATCHER, ANDERSON TAYLOR - age 71 of Madisonville, died peacefully at home on December 7, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A businessman with many local interests prior to his retirement. Known for his creativity and imagination with boundless energy. Survivors, wife Janet Carmichael Hatcher; daughter and son-in-law Shari & Scobey Peterman, Sweetwater; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Cathe Hatcher, Cleveland; step-daughters, Whitney and Jessica Carmichael, Maryville; grandchildren, Josh & Jessica Walker and Kayla Hatcher; great granddaughter Mackenzie Brooke Walker; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruby & Jim Younce, Maryville, Betty & Joe Maples, Kennesaw, GA.; brothers and sisters-in-law: Cecil and Tilda Hatcher, Maryville, Gene and Katherine Hatcher, Parrottsville, Walter and Sharon Hatcher, Peoria, IL, Ed Hatcher, Madisonville. Proceeded in death by his parents, Luther and Beulah Hatcher. The family wishes to express gratitude to the special people who provided professional and compassionate medical care including Dr. Ross Kerns and staff of Tennessee Cancer Specialists, the wonderful staff of Parkwest Medical Center and Avalon Hospice. These blessed people could not have been more supportive to Anderson and his family during his illness. Funeral 7 P.M. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Ted Baker officiating. Family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
