Jack Tucker Bush
Jack Tucker Bush, of Knoxville, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005. He was a director of National Bank of Newport and former vice president of Bush Brothers and Company, Dandridge. He was a World War II veteran, serving in Europe after D-Day. He was a member of Bearden United Methodist Church, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, past director of the National Canners Association, past county commissioner of Jefferson County, and past member of the UT Development Council.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred C. Bush, and mother, Vera Tucker Bush.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eugenia C. Bush; son, Jack C. Bush and wife Catherine Norris-Bush; daughter, Charlotte B. Rigsby and husband Terry A. Rigsby; grandchildren, Kristian Bush and wife Jill Joyner Bush, Brandon Bush and wife Dianne Bush, Rob Dorner, Eamon Rigsby, and Merrill Rigsby; and a great-grandson.
The family received friends Sunday at Bearden United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service with the Rev. Tom Seay officiating. The family will also receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. today at Sevierville United Methodist Church with an 11 a.m. memorial service to follow with the Rev. Bobby Ely officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bearden United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4407 Sutherland Ave., Knoxville, TN 37919.
