Robert J. Harris age 81 of Morristown, passed away June 15, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith and loved gardening, tobacco, and people. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by wife Lillie Harris, daughter Sue Carter, and son Benny Harris. He is survived by sons Terry (Gina) Harris of Russellville, Roy Dale Harris of Hawkins County, and Jimmy Harris of Corpus Christi, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren Benjamin, Joseph, and Jacob Harris, Crystal Fore, Ashley Hopkins, Jammie, Robert, and Michelle Carter, and also several great-grandchildren, brother Alan Harris of Talbott, and sister Catherine Campbell of Newport . Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. at Mayes Family Services Downtown Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
