Ledbetter was a minister for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Masonic order. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Sue (Sissy) Ledbetter; parents, Witt and Hazel Ledbetter; grandson, James Carl Whaley; sister, Johnnie Trentham. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Lois Ann Ledbetter; sons, Allen Witt Ledbetter; James Ledbetter; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Franky Whaley; daughter, Tina Drew, both of Maryville; five grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Phyllis Ledbetter of Sevierville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Alice and Shirley Teaster of Sevierville; Dorothy and Donald Boles of Mississippi; Virginia Jo and Leon Stinnett, Judith Carol and John Crockett of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, special friends and church family. Funeral service will be 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 in the Dotson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Larry Teaster, Robert Burns and Christopher Teaster, officiating. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses. Arrangements by Dotson Funeral Home, 4838 Wildwood Road, Maryville/Seymour.
