Russell, age 70, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jessie Lindsey Covington; sister, Ruby Bonner; and brothers, J.C. Covington and Leroy Covington. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Debra Jane McCoy of Maryville and Tammy Hannah and husband Tim of Louisville; sons, Charles Russell and wife Barbara of Friendsville and McKinley Russell of Friendsville; grandchildren, Monica Woods of Maryville, Charla Russell of Friendsville, and Beth Anne Williamson Russell of Friendsville; great-grandson, Johnathan Dallas Delrio of Maryville; sisters, Dortha Starret of Louisville and Annie Ledbetter of Maryville; brothers, Donald Covington of Maryville and Larry Covington of Citra, Florida; sister-in-law, Marie Covington of Greenback; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her extended family and caregivers at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Memorial service will be held 8:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2007 at Friendsville First Baptist Church, Rev. Mark Grubb officiating. Private interment service will be held later at Big Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Friendsville First Baptist Church.
