EASON , BAXTER H. - age 68 of Powell, died Thursday, April 4, 2002. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Wesley Builders Class. He was a Navy veteran and a Shriner. He retired from TVA after 36 years. He was a longtime volunteer with the Fantasy of Trees and an avid UT fan. Preceded in death by brothers, Robert Eason of Bruceton and James Paul Eason of Mississippi. Survivors: wife, Betty C. Eason ; daughters and sons in law, Mary Beth Eason and Brad Rayson, Sallie Ann and Dan Amanns, Jr.; his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy: Alexandra Danae, Savannah Elizabeth and Gabrielle Rose Amanns; sisters and brothers in law, Dorothy and John Hall of Georgia, Jeannine and Bill Maners of Clarksville, Barbara and Thomas Wiles of Maryland; brother and sister in law, Martin and Jo Ann Sill Eason of Bruceton; sisters in law, Jean Eason of Huntingdon and Mary Ann Eason of Mississippi; brother in law and sister in law, Carl B. and Mary Ruth Cook; sisters and brothers in law, Willie and Jack Delozier and Elizabeth and Jack Denton and sister in law, Jane Cook; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service 6 p.m. Saturday Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Rev. Carl Oaks and Rev. Angela Hardy officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 2 p.m. graveside and interment service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church 5613 Western Ave., Knoxville, Tenn. 37921 or East Tennessee Children's Hospital 2018 Clinch Ave. Knoxville, Tenn. 37916.
