Lecta Jane Christopher Reed, age 82, passed away at her home in Kodak on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Janie Nelson, loving husbands Charles Sylvester Christopher and Frank Reed, brothers Johnnie and Glen Nelson, and sister Sarah Helton.
She is survived by her:
Son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Marilyn Christopher of Sevierville
Daughters and sons-in-law: Phyllis and Eddie Cate, Kathy and Richard Williams, Sharon and Charlie Henry, Gail and Robert Rayfield, Debbie Hale, Teresa and Marvin Morgan, all of Sevierville
16 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren
Brother and sister-in-law: Mayford and Janet Nelson
Sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy and Ralph Breeden, Ruth and Bob Huffstetler, Lois Maples, all of Sevierville

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Sledge officiating. Family and friends will meet 1 PM Thursday in Mountain View Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
