(November 19, 1944 - January 5, 2009) Brenda Jean Best, age 64, of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at Shady Rest Nursing Home in Ft. Myers, Florida. She was a member of Knob Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Chapman; and sister, Audean Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Best; children, Robert “Bobby” Best, Elizabeth and husband, Rick Courtney, and Scott and wife, Karen Best; grandchildren, Kyndra Courtney, Turner Courtney, Dalton Best, and Whitney Best; sister, Linda “Mickey” Smith: special caregiver and niece, Belinda Richardson and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Jerry Little and Rev. Darrell Croft officiating. Interment service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home. Maryville.
